“Mr. Frederick Fitzwilliam’s Google Search History: - How do you kiss if it has been three hundred years since.- How can you know if she wants to kiss you…”
➽ My Roommate Is a Vampire is exactly the hilarious, paranormal Romance I was expecting! Cassie Greenberg is a struggling artist, who is desperately searching for affordable housing in the Chicago area. When she finds a flatshare offer in a nice area that's too good to be true, she meets Frederick J. Fitzwilliam, a hot guy who speaks as if he's from a Regency novel. I loved the hilarious setup, as Cassie's immediately suspicious. After all, the offer is too good to be true, but she needs the cheap rent and is willing to put up with an eccentric roommate. It turns out that Frederick is actually a vampire, who's trying to blend into modern society and hopes to learn how to behave 'normally' from Cassie! I loved this trope so much and thought it was fun trying to see Frederick come to terms with modern technology! This was just an entertaining romance and makes me glad that we're getting more vampire books again!
