I loved this. It was heart-breaking, complicated, and uplifting. What a life and what perseverance.

I highly recommend the audiobook narrated by the author. What could have been a tragic story about a bizarre and challenging childhood is transformed into a beautiful love story full of humor and forgiveness.

I kept forgetting this was a memoir, it was written so well! It made me reconsider some notions of my own, and showed me what life in America can truly be like.

Sometimes non-fiction/memoirs are tough for me to get through. But the writing style in this book was great and kept me hooked the entire time!

This book was so packed with adventure & emotions that it felt like I wasn’t reading at times! As an outsider, it felt so easy to condemn her parents, but she did such a great job writing in a way that also made you empathetic towards them. Truly a great read!

Omg wtf this story was crazy!!! Tara Westover found DEAD!!!! Although I did like that in Educated I felt like TW went more into how complicated it is loving your parents who are mega messed up, and I feel like she was also a lot more self aware writing the book.
