I'm afraid I did not take a good look at the poems (sorry, will do that later), because I bought this book as a birthday present for myself - I'm such a huge fan of Jackie Morris's work !
The colours are beautiful, the painting is beautiful, the animals are beautifully done, I browsed through the pages with my mouth open in admiration. It's perfect for all nature and painting lovers :)

Surprising find. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to get this for a friend, so listened to it on Libby and it was so sweet! The voices of birds and animals played and then lovely narrators read the poems of the words found in nature! It was really sweet. Made me slow down. It felt like a meditation about nature.
