Gorgeous artwork. I didn't love all the poems, but I loved most of them, and the entire concept and layout is very engaging. The art is the main strength though.

The audio for this was a beautiful surprise. I liked it so much I went back to the hard copy book and looked through the gorgeous illustrations too. It breaks my heart that we are losing nature vocabulary in the children’s dictionary.

Wasn't sure how it was going to translate into an audio version - but it was a treat!

Gorgeous book of “spells” to conjure words about nature that were dropped from the Oxford Junior Dictionary.

Lovely set of poems. I listened to the audio book and enjoyed the various voices and the birdsong backtrack. However, the mixing was very quiet which meant I couldn’t always hear the poems over the birdsong.

This huge book is full of beautiful watercolor illustrations and some very nicely done poems about nature.

Words, nature, art. God. This book deserves more than 5 stars. On my heartwarming little children's book run this is my favorite so far. I fell in love with Robert MacFarlane. This is truly a spell book, for any person, for any occasion. Endlessly enchanting.

I listened to it and followed with the printed book. It was a lovely experience.
