This is definitely my favourite Emily Henry book so far! I smiled so much reading this. The banter and tension between Nora and Charlie was perfect. He was so sweet and funny, I absolutely loved him.
The sister-love side of the story was really sweet too and it really rounded out the story.

The dynamic between Charlie and Nora is delightful, and there is a bittersweet realism to the sister relationship. Another excellent read from Emily Henry. A few too many "false starts" between Charlie and Nora for my taste, but easily forgiveable.

No notes, all love for this book. Emily Henry has done it again - I fell in love with Libby and Nora and Charlie and the love they have for each other. Such a wonderfully delightful read with a lovely focus on the unknown and how our decisions impact our life. I think Henry is a new auto-buy for me.

This might be controversial, but I think this is my favorite Emily Henry to date!

This enemies-to-lovers romance is full of Henry's usual banter, charming characters, and emotional depth. I loved the relationship between Charlie and Nora, and the parallel story of the relationship between Nora and her sister. I was so charmed by the small-town setting, and I was rooting for the main character the whole time. Though others saw her as a shark, she was such a relatable character and deserved a happy ever after.

Perfect for: older sisters, girls who've been called an "ice queen," and Hallmark movie cynics.

I wanted to like this. I really did. Emily Henry is an auto buy author for me. But as a publishing professional I got too caught up in the stereotypes and tropes. I know it’s supposed to subvert the small town romance trope but it was super super predictable and I just couldn’t get behind it. I’m sorry.
