I guessed right — this book is not for me. Not my kind of storytelling. I find the narrator doing weird voices for everyone which I don’t like. And the jumping around from time and character and perspective is too confusing. I don’t know who’s who and what’s what and it’s also giving “ick” vibes from all these gross men, so I won’t be continuing.

Gostei da escrita de Hilary Mantel, mas achei o livro maçudo, e por vezes tornou-se um soporífero sem contra-indicações.

Excellent. Really picked up towards the middle, and does a good job exploring the different characters and ramping up the drama. Interesting to get Cronwell’s perspective.
