Super interesting information but it was soooo jokey jokey (the same jokes) that it was hard to get through.

Not as great as Doughty’s first two books, but still interesting!

A very good book in the genre. The book is informative and thought-provoking but the material is delivered in a humourous and digestible way.
The author is knowledgeable and clearly enjoys sharing her passions and interests with others.
This book also reads very well as an audiobook.

Every time Caitlin releases a book, I will read it.
Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs? answers the death-related questions children have asked her (and adults have thought of). She has a knack for turning the thoughts of a morbid topic—death, cultural practices around the world, cremation, and the science and history that ties it all together— into an engaging, insightful and witty book, like her previous nonfiction works. Just as my previous reading experiences, I read this along with the audiobook. It’s the way to go. She’s a comedic mortician.

Grappig, interessant, goede reminder dat we allemaal doodgaan en dat veel van onze zorgen er op de lange termijn niet toe doen. Memento mori enzo.
