I liked this book at the start. Loved Bree and Eason.
However. Rob did not need to come back from the dead. Like wtf. That made everything so over the top dramatic and unrealistic. It really ruined the book for me.

I stopped reading for a few days because it got a little stagnant for me and felt a bit like a slow burn (I can’t really handle slow burns) but holy shit did this pick up and go in directions I never thought it would go in. I can now confidently say, this will be on my list of favourite books read. Holy crap I loved it. Laughed and cried. Highly recommend!
I listened to the audio version of this book and I'm giving that 5 stars. Connor Crais and Erin Mallon are fantastic!!
The story itself is also 5 stars for me. Absolutely excellent and I highly recommend this to anybody who likes a tragedy, deep despair, death of a spouse, enemies to lovers story type of romance.

4.5, This is a romance BUT Aly threw in some twisty twists that had my jaw dropping in the airplane flight home.
