absolutely hated the romance for most of the book, but the main character Jude was so fun to follow that it was worth it. And honestly, I have come around to Carden. Very excited to see these two in the next book. Also, the audiobook narrated by Caitlin Kelly is very good.

I was playing with the thought whether I should give it five stars or not, but I decided not to do so. Even though I terribly loved it, something was just missing. I don’t know what and will never know, but this is how it is. But nonetheless, I loved it!
You could say I was unbearably lured in by the entire story and oh, the characters. I mean, Cardan? Come on, sweet, cruel guy. We all love you and you even know it.
The things Locke did are still hurting me and I will never forgive him. What a terrible, terrible betrayal.
I am so horribly in love with the world that Holly has created and I might never be able to leave it now. It gives me such comforting feelings and to explain those is truly difficult for me. My heart feels full.
