Hmmmm! This reunion story in the woods!!! It took me awhile to catch on here - I should have had it figured out from the start!!!! I loved locked room mysteries! The ending has the biggest cliffhanger; it’s like… okay… you got me…. I’ll read on….

I know I say this in every review for every volume I read, but this is so good. SO. GOOD.

I love it so much. I love Sinchi and Ran's moments. I love Conan and his inner thoughts. I love everything about this.

The case of the bandaged man at the villa was creepy and the karoke murder was sad. The last couple of chapters with the Black Syndicate’s kidnapping (and the fake mom and the masked man) were super thrilling! I like that Conan keeps getting closer to answering his questions but not without some danger. Also, the Doraemon references made me smile.

This volume was filled with some truly tragic cases, the introduction of some amazing characters (like Ran's friend Sonoko) and some of the sweetest Ran-Shinichi moments that it felt like I was constantly on a roller-coaster of emotions! It was incredibly enjoyable and left us off with a fun cliffhanger!

quite predictable, but a bit better than the previous volumes as we get a cliffhanger and the main story moves forward.
