Queer writing, about queer people, in an apocalypse, in the 90s, in a dream state. Also did I mention it’s Queer?! Love.

so its not perfect by any means and could be considered problematic for sure but its one of my favourite queer books,, first 1/2 is the main character living out a punk, lesbian poetry drug-fuelled life which I LOVED and then in the 1/2 half the book switches from a realistic, almost autobiographical book to a,,, idek how to explain it but its great (also matt dillon for the win)
