3.5 stars. I think I had sky high expectations for this book because I had heard so many people give it rave reviews on social media. I enjoyed it, but did not love it by any means. I thought the dialogue was so cringy. I visibly twitched every time he called her, "rubia" and "naranja." I am a Spanish speaker, but I felt like the author grabbed two Spanish words and ran with them. I didn't know this book was going to have smut in it, but I did not mind it. I enjoyed the revenge at the end. I would have loved a little more of the revenge aspect overall.

Ok listen to me. Forget about everything I’ve ever said about ANY fictional men because Damien Martinez is it for me. He’s my one and only book husband.

4.25 stars! I really enjoyed this. It was a quick read and fun for the holiday. It had good spice, too! And…I always love when there is Dual POV! I’d recommend if you’re looking for a holiday romcom.

But my god, I cringed at the 857 times he called her “Rubia” or the other name I can’t recall at the moment.

If I had to sum up this book in one word it would be." meh" I was so terribly underwhelmed and quite frankly a bit bored.
The dialogue was semi okay and the idea of the plot was good, but the whole story is just sooo mid. The characters were boring. The couple had no chemistry. And there was absolutely no Holy Jollies. I defs wasted my time with this one.

So here’s the thing… I’m not totally ragging on this author I’ll probably read more of her I was just not feelin it with this one.

Ho Ho Hope the other holiday books I decide to read are better than this one.
