Legally Blonde inspired? Age gap? Revenge plot? And Christmas? All perfectly meshed up in a greatly written rom com with dual POV that I absolutely loved. Both Abby and Damien were great narrators and I loved how their relationship unfolded and conflict was maturely solved. I have nothing to criticize and in fact I really really desperately need books about Cami and Kat just so I don't lose this cute people

Incredible chemistry, awesome pacing. The conflict was mostly internal, and it never felt too played out or like it dragged on for no reason.
This man had me blushing forreal

Um… wow! Legally Blonde is already a fantastic story, add some spice and even more humour and you have a masterpiece. Damien could absolutely get it, 100%. I LOVE that neither of them change their minds and want kids, cause really who wants or can afford children in this world?
Also can we talk about how Abigails plan didn’t end up in a petty betrayal/break up?
That ladies is a true man.

This was cute. I liked the relationship between Abbie and Damien, and their interactions. I liked that we get to read about them falling in love, and we’re not just told that they’re falling in love. This book loses half a star because Damien calls her “whore” in bed, which is supposed to be a turn on?? Gross. Also choking in bed. Then her awful ex Richard calls her a whore and gets punched, as he should. And there’s an epilogue behind a paywall of spam emails. I feel like I need to create junk account just so I can access these epilogues without receiving so much junk mail to my main account.
Turns out there are other books before this in a series, and now I have to go find them.

TW/CW: use of the word “whore” in bed; sexual asphyxiation (strangulation)
