I enjoyed this so much! Having seen Clueless a million times and the Gwyneth Paltrow version of Emma once, I was really curious to read the original material. Jane Austen is an expert at making everyday life so interesting and charming.

I wanted to start reading this as soon as I watch Anya Taylor Joy’s version of Emma and had so much fun getting back into reading! It was fun flagging the quotes from the movie in the book. It was nice really understanding how each character related to one another and how they all knew each other :))
Definitely had a good time seeing how everything unfolded and how things were slowly revealed. I had actually bought this such a long time ago and finally picked it up again. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Elizabeth Klett and I loved how she gave each character their proper personality<33 it let me get immersed into their whole world <3
