Great, old-fashioned book. I was under the impression the whole book would be about the donut plot, but the rest of the stories were enjoyable, too!
Would love to try a readaloud of one of these chapters. Humorous, and not too dated, despite it's aged publication date.

Funny but probably wouldn't read again
I read this to all of my kids and really enjoyed it. I thought it was fun and engaging. It was a pretty quick read and it had some great pictures. This book was an excellent read aloud.
