I think I'm in love. Billy Collins makes me smile, ponder, and wish I were a poet too.

I can't finish this, I just can't. I really don't like his style in writing poetry

This book has been sitting on my shelf for a long time and I felt i should give it another shot. Ugh so most of the writing is so dull and some poems are straight up male gaze-y which gave me the ick! So no, this book is not for me but I wanted to finish it then say goodbye to it forever. Bye bye, Billy Collins, forever

I previously read "The Rain on Portugal" and didn't care too much for it, but this selection of poetry I liked very much. I especially liked "Piano Lessons, "Insomnia", "Candle Hat", and "To a Stranger Born in Some Distant Country a Hundred Years from Now".

A pretty solid collection. I found Aristotle to be a standout along with Morning.

Another great set of poetry by Billy Collins. My sentiments are very much the same for Sailing Alone Around the Room as they are for Aimless Love.
