I really enjoyed this story.
Evie is a woman who’s determined and headstrong even when everything seems to go wrong.
She says what she means and that lands her an unlikely job that she’s assumed not to be qualified for.
But she comes through not only at work but even in the personal side. When a dear family friend who’s also the grandparent of her boss falls ill, it’s Evie who’s there - for everyone.
The narration was fantastic - of course!

Great romance. The guy’s trauma was a little on the bananas side for me, but romance reasons, yeah?
I started this book last night and devoured it without any regard for what would happen today, which I also have to go to work. All this is to say that it flows seamlessly and smoothly even though Evie is way too perfect to be true most of the time. It's also to be said that this is the second book I've read by the author and there's almost always the right amount of drama, just that the ending is IMHO a little too rushed.
Ho cominciato questo libro ieri sera e me lo sono divorato senza nessun riguardo per quello che sarebbe successo oggi, che devo anche andare al lavoro. Tutto questo per dire che scorre fluido e senza intoppi anche se Evie é decisamente troppo perfetta per essere vera la maggior parte delle volte. C'è anche da dire che questo é il secondo libro che leggo dell'autrice e c'é quasi sempre la giusta quantitá di dramma, solo che il finale é IMHO un po' troppo affrettato.

These narrators and this author's story telling are just a perfect little combo. I bought the book last Wednesday, started it Friday and finished it last night. This is like my sixth book of hers I've listened to. I already have a few more in my wishlist
