Kind of cute, but odd (and I don't mean quirky-good odd, I mean just plain odd).

Like this one better than [bc:I'm Bored|13448343|I'm Bored|Michael Ian Black|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1328099505s/13448343.jpg|18967692][b:I'm Bored|13448343|I'm Bored|Michael Ian Black|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1328099505s/13448343.jpg|18967692]. I like how she steadfastly refuses to let the Blooz ruin her day. I also like that she didn't need help from a grown up to try any of her strategies.

Good message while not being overly didactic.

Levis tells this interesting story about a young child visited by the Blooz. While trying to determine what’s going on and might have led to this unwelcomed visit by Blooz, the large and looming blue entity does not actively engage, but will not depart. It is only after a series of activities and some time outside that Blooz seems to disappear and the ‘true blueness’ of the sky is clear again. Neo liked the idea of the story but did not catch the symbolism of depression, particularly in children. I would be lying if I did not say I am happy that Neo does not knowingly understand Blooz, but am ready, should anything come up in his ongoing growth.
