A disappointing one. Naomi is just awful. A bad friend, crappy daughter, not fun to be in her head. And given it’s about amnesia we never get her thoughts on that or delve too deeply in how she feels about losing her memory. She doesn’t investigate her old self or try to figure out who she was. Just ‘oh I lost four years of my life, guess I’ll carry on mostly as normal’. Instead of her inner life we just get lots of telling about her relationships. Three in the space of ten months! That’s all this book is, Naomi and her boyfs. Just think it could have been more.

I liked the book, but somehow I can't say I loved it.
The writing was very good, but the plot was kinda blurry.

I didn't quite like Naomi. The biggest reason was the fact the she acted like she always needed a guy by her side. She even said that she didn't want to be that girl who was never single. So annoying!

At first I loved James, even when he turned out to be complitely messed up. I kinda fall for messed up guys... But he ended up being an asshole. Waling around cementarys, forgeting about Naomi, and then not even telling her he wasn't feeling well.

Actually, when I think more closely there wasn't one character in this book I truly liked or loved.
They were all there, but that just showed that they were human. I liked that.

This one started out strong, but then Naomi became much too teenager-y for my liking. I just had to slog through the painful middle part before getting to a much more satisfying ending. I thought maybe I was ready to read more YA fiction, but perhaps it’s not for me right now. Still ... I do enjoy Gabrielle Zevin’s writing!

After a fall, Naomi forgets the last 4 years of her life. She will have to cope with absent memories and friends she doesn't remember, including a very bland boyfriend! Add to that her growing feelings for James and her life just got bery very complicated...

All in all, a nice read but it didn't touch me as much as her previous book. I could have done without the romance part of it and just concentrate on the amnesia. But as it is an integral part of her recovery, it is important. Not the best read but still good
