She's amazingly in tune with her time and surroundings. I felt a part of every poem in this collection, and can't wait to read more by her!

An amazing collection that is such an impressive rallying cry! I especially loved the haikus and prose poems. It gave me a new appreciation for what haikus can communicate, honestly. The poems also exude the empathy I strive to embody in my everyday life. Definitely want to check out her other collections.
