Loved this first book in the Duke's Daughters' series! A dastardly villain, a flawed hero, a sweet heroine, and a smart sister all make for interesting characters who make this story fun. It's a quick enjoyable read that's hard to put down.

Lord Northfell has been away from society for a couple of years, he had a reputation for being a rogue before he left. Now that he was back he had a secret, and wanted a wife.

Amelia, first daughter to the Duke of Westbrook, was looking for a husband because her father has asked her too. When she meets Lord Northfell, she was smitten but he seemed to to blow hot and cold and she was not sure about it. Then several pieces of information came her way that made her run. Until she stopped long enough to hear him out and not jump to conclusions.

I loved this book. A strong hero that doesn't try to take over the heroine's life and give her no choices. A baby that steals the scene. and a family that loves each other completely. This series is wonderful. A mush read.
