Don’t read this book if you aren’t feeling 100% anchored in reality before you start.

Enthralling and chilling from the very beginning. I could not put this down and I couldn’t stop thinking about it when I had to. I cannot wait to read the next two.

Devoured this as an audiobook.
Very unique/interesting concept, I haven’t read anything like it. One of those books that wont give you any answers but dosent feel unsatisfactory.

An amazing, confusing, twisty turnt sort of sci Fi that really makes it unforgettable. Only scoring this edition a little lower because the narrator kept saying 'hypmatizing'.

it’s a terrifying idea to think you know everything in a given subject only for it all to be thrown out with the introduction of something far more complex and ever-evolving than what you’ve studied

In one word, unsettling. Once it got going, the mystery and the eerie to eldritch developments really pulled me in.
I assumed from the start that I wouldn't get any concrete explanations or answers about what was going on, and that made it more enjoyable. Creepy and visceral, I think I'll be thinking about Area X and its world for a while.
