Read it tons as a kid. So breezy and light. I always forget how Mrs Fox genuinely tells her kids she'd rather them starve to death than go for the chicken. Spooky.

It's a classic for a reason lads, this book bangs! Honestly, I dont remember too much about the style or the writing, but the story is one of my favourites of all time. I read this as a kid and I can't wait to pass this story on to my own children or nieces and nephews, cousins... I don't care, but its so much fun!
One of the few Roald Dahl books I hadn't read as a kid. But I'm glad I did now - definitely seems to hold up for an older audience.

Very enjoyable. It's about three farmers trying to kill a fox family so probably not for sensitive or very young children, but my 7 year old enjoyed it a lot.
