I was watching the movie earlier this week and as I was I realized…I’ve never even read the book it’s based off of! Well I couldn’t have that so of course I had to read it! What a delightful little book this was! I enjoyed this from front to back! The whimsy, the friendship, and the teamwork was what made this book! Definitely will be a book I hope will travel generation to generation! Mr. Fox is quite a fantastic fox!
Lo volví a leer y lo leeré mil veces más porque es maravilloso. Hay una familia de zorros a punto de ser masacrada y el fantástico señor zorro salva no solo a su esposa e hijos, sino a toda la comunidad que vive bajo la tierra burlándose además de tres granjeros espantosos.
Es un poco triste que muchos adultos piensen que es un libro aburrido en el que no pasa nada, que crean que se necesita un circo para que una historia sea interesante o que algo fantástico no puede ser, al mismo tiempo, simple.
Dahl demuestra que el más listo no es el que hace "más" y con mejores herramientas, despreciando a sus compañeros y creyendo que pueden hacer todo siempre solo, sino el que trabaja de la mano con quienes pueden ayudarlo y ve la solución que está, literalmente, en la punta de sus nariz (o sus garritas).

im also gonna put my original 6th grade review on this one because it was also peak and cuz its funny asf lmao im gonna remove like half of it cuz its mostly just plot summary but
If you like fantastic foxes, you will like Fantastic Mr. Fox by: fantastic Roald Dahl. The book was illustrated by fantastic Quentin Blake, and it has 82 fantastic pages.
A part of the book I did not enjoy was the description of Bean’s ears which tells what makes him deaf. I did not enjoy hearing that he has chewing gum and dead flies and dirt in his ears (because that’s just gross).
I enjoyed the book a lot because the fox really outsmarted the farmers, and he helped all his friends in the process.
How fantastic do you think Fantastic Mr. Fox is? I think that Fantastic Mr. Fox is as fantastic as Fantastic Mr. Fox and that book is fantastic!
