This is without a doubt a Masterpiece of the Fantasy Genre.
Truly a journey. Having finished it, I am out of breath and am still just thinking of what I have just read. The plot twists, fights and deaths all glue the reader to the page and are all excellent. The first 2 parts were easily masterpieces and while I had some doubts for the 3rd part but by the end, it all made sense and things went into place smoothly.

Spoilers below:
At first I had thought Episte’s death to be just for shock value but by the end I had realized I was wrong and had been played to be a fool. Funnily enough I had guessed the final plot twist but thought it impossible and told myself I was just being silly.
The world building alongside the Wizards is outstanding and who can deny the greatness of Colbey.

I didn't think I was going to enjoy this one much, since a few of the characters are different from the first book. I ended up really enjoying most of them, though. Sterrane, who was just sort've there in the first one ended up being a great, if simple character. Like someone else said, I love the Gods and the overall feeling of this series.
