I have one word to describe this book: disgusting.

It took me a while to read because of a reading slump but one I got into it I couldn't put it down.

a masterclass in body horror, cannibal holocaust but with a restraint and grace that that movie sorely lacks

the comparisons between the two really only stop at the gruesomeness though, The Troop is actually interesting and compelling too. it takes a lot to make me uneasy and this book definitely did that, so bravo

would recommend if you are looking for something extreme

A great read that was both scary and gross. Listened to it in Audible. I’ve never gotten queasy listening to a book until this one.

I’m starting to think nick cutter isn’t for me, this is my second book of his I’ve read and felt disappointed by. Each one started off so promising, such creative stories and premises that I was hooked from the description alone. Then they just…drop off, or another aspect takes primary focus of the story, making it feel like the plot has changed entirely.

Relentless terror at break-neck speed. I was both disgusted and intrigued, and couldn't put it down. Excellent!!
