I've read some daaaaaaaark, depraved, unhinged and bat crazy sh*t (i.e. Exquisite Corpse!!!!) but strangely, this book was waaaaay more disturbing than all of them combined to me. I struggled to get through many sections, and found myself holding the book further away from my face, cringing in disgust. For that, all the accolades to the author! It's tough these days in a sea of same-ness and overdone/ overused tropes to really WOW an avid reader. Well done, Nick. You've scarred me for life.
