This book was kind of wonderful.
-beeeeautiful illustrations. so, so, so beautiful. absolutely a joy to look at.
-the story is super weird. still not sure if good weird or bad weird.
-loved all the little facts about the Marx brothers, and the little nods to their previous movies
-I don't understand how they ever expected to make this into a movie. it makes no sense. the story line is pretty incoherent at certain points and the props/visual process is insane to imagine. i do think this would make such a lovely animated feature though.
I wouldn't recommend this to many people, it's a niche read, but I enjoyed it and I will definitely read it again.
