My first time reading anything by Keigo Higashino, I am a fan of detective novels and enjoyed some Japanese ones previously and the works of Higashino are highly thought of.
I started this a while back but got side tracked with other books and this week decided to give it a proper go at last.
What a superb read and I devoured it in a day or two. A real page turner and I wouldn't have guessed the twist in the plot. I thought it was obvious from the start but when the twist came it took me by surprise, I would like to read it again to see if I missed anything, I probably did.
I look forward to reading more of the authors works and hope they are as enjoyable as this was.

Aku sampai gak bisa berkata-kata sama plot twist yang dikasih. Kisahnya out of the box banget .... Aku berani bilang kalau penulisnya jenius banget dalam nulis ceritanya. Yh, walaupun ending-nya gak memuaskan. GANTUNG

Very engaging murder mystery with a surprising emotional punch. Not sure how I entirely feel about the ending but I would definitely like to read more from Higashino.
