Not sure this needed to exist, but if you enjoyed the first two books, it's an enjoyable read over your morning coffee.

Sigh. "Just One Day" was a lovely little book with a stronger focus on self-improvement through action and choice than romance. It's so inspirational even if sappy, and it's a comfort read of mine. However, in the sequel and this novella the theme is dropped, the writing solely shifts focus on telling a fate-based romance story, and all heart is gone. Luckily for me, this novella picks up right at the end of the first book and fills in the details from the second so I didn't have to re-read the sequel and could get closure from the cliff-hanger.

This makes me so happy! Happy, happy, happy! Yes, I'm a big, sappy, romantic at heart. I was fine with the ending of Just One Year (I know a lot of people weren't) -- but I'm now thrilled to find out what happened NEXT. Thank you, Gayle Forman, for giving Willem and Allyson the ending (or really, beginning) they deserve! This novella felt like a big ice cream sundae gift for all of the readers of Just One Day and Just One Year. Yum!

I have a ridiculous level of fondness for this series - got through this novella in record time. Very nice way to satisfy those of us wondering what happened to the main characters.

This ebook was a perfect conclusion. The ending in Just One Year was fantastic, but it definitely left me wanting. After everything, I wanted to finally see the two of them together, as their new selves. This novella gives us that.

The writing, I will say, was a little weird at first, in third person, the voice not quite coming out right. But it got better, and I mostly just didn’t even care.

It starts right where the second books ends, and we finally get to see them together, seeing each other, touching each other, finding out more about each other and their friends and family. It was absolutely perfect.

It’s a short read, and it’s digital only, but if you enjoyed the first two books, and especially if you wanted more, pick it up. It’s worth it.
