Absolutely nothing like what I expected. Initially very boring, does pick up. Mary Shelley is an absolute badass. People were fragile back then: this book is not scary. It’s actually comforting to know that no matter how bad things get, I’m not an ugly 8 foot tall monster with veins popping out of my head and mummy hands. Life is hard, but I’m not a total outcast to society. A win is a win.

man does unbelievably foolish thing and is shocked when it has awful consequences
victor really experienced the madman spectrum
i (perhaps problematically) support the monster’s hatred of humanity
i don’t know why people make the monster a grunting weirdo when the original source material is 100x more interesting

Solo había visto las películas y no tienen ni la mejor relación con la historia que se relata en este libro. El final me estremeció, y termino de plantear mis ideas sobre la naturaleza del ser humano, contrario a lo que propone N. Maquiavelo.

Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
