Eu acho que foi uma leitura bem rápida e fluída pra mim, apesar de eu ter lido na escola.
Me encantei muito com o livro e também com a influencia dele por eu estar estudando sobre a literatura gótica e a influência desse conto pra história.
Mas acho que no geral foi um livro que me encantou bastante e eu senti prazer em ler. Acho que é um livro muito grande e sua influência foi enorme em vários aspectos pra muito do que a gente vê nos filmes e livros de horror ainda hoje em dia, mas não acho que seja o absoluto supremo da literatura gótica e uma obra de arte excepcional.

Extremely high quality writing and storytelling, but I absolutely despise Victor, and the Monster murders several people throughout the book. I did find the story inspiring for my own future writing projects though.
because of the depression that hit me, really liked it. Going to finish it some day.

I begun to read this book about possibly 3 years ago yet I never finished it. So, here I am, 3 years later rereading the whole thing and finally finishing it. Once again I am reminded why I loved this book in the first place! Not sure why I never finished it but I’m glad I finally did. Honestly, one of the main things I can takeaway from this book is how obsession can lead to your downfall. It eats you up, it pushes away everything else you love, it has consequences. Don’t expect your actions to not have consequences. I would have given this book 5 stars HOWEVER… I just felt like there were too many pages of unnecessary information that added almost nothing to the story whatsoever. Like okay miss shelley I understand you love describing everything down to the atom but you don’t have to do that for EVERYTHING. But I mean other than that, I really loved reading this dark tale! A classic indeed.
