"Like we're the first people ever who talk about people we want dead.”

I wasn't sure what I expected of this series. I love this author and have absolutely loved 2 other series by her. But this one just didn't click with me.

I felt detached from the characters. I didn't remember enough from book one to really pull the two together and book 2 barely let me get to know them more. And the cast is kind of big - Mackenzie, Ava, Julie, Parker, and Catilin is all it mentions on the cover. But they all have friends and best friends, people they are currently dating and exboyfriends that won't see to go away that I was supposed to remember to - even parents, teachers and other school personnel. It's daunting to even try to keep up with all of them, let alone keep their own struggles with the right person - especially when I didn't feel the need to connect all the dots each chapter.

But I did like the mystery. I definitely didn't know who was killing everyone and I liked having the list beforehand so we knew which victims to watch out for.

Meh, it was light and fluffy and I didn't mind reading it but I didn't love it.

The Good Girls by Sara Shepherd is definitely worth checking out. As a sequel to "The Perfectionists," this book picks up right where the first one left off, with the girls still in danger and the list of suspects getting shorter.

But what I really loved about this book was the development of the characters and their struggles. It was great to see them grow and evolve as they tried to navigate the dangerous situation they found themselves in. And I have to say, I actually enjoyed this book even more than the first one.

And let's talk about that ending - wow. It completely caught me off guard and had me reeling!!! I WAS SHOOOOOOOOK.

THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD! I loved every single moment of this book so much. This book was of my most anticipated reads of 2015 and I loved the first one so much, so I was so excited for this one! This did not fail to disappoint me and I think I like it better than the first. This was such a wild ride from the start. There was SO many twists and turns that I didn't even see coming. I was screaming throughout this whole book. I love Sara Shepard's writing so much, it's flows so easily and I love how she writes her characters. I really liked all the characters in this book. I like the 5 main girls because they were so fun to read about. They were going through so many hardships and struggles and loved seeing how they got through it. And the mean/villains got written so well, you even didn't like them as much as a girls.
SPOILERS START
I still can't believe who the killer was

I predicted the twist about halfway through, but still, damn. Sara Shepard is kind of amazing!

This book was absolutely amazing. I loved every single page of it. The ending will shock you. I don't think anyone could have predicted it. It just came out of nowhere. Saara Shepard really knows how to write a thriller.

Im not sure I liked the twist, it seemed a little too out there for me, but I would not be upset if there was a third in the series.

Is this the last book of the series? Well, it hasn't been updated in two years, but I feel like it hasn't ended?... The Good Girls is EVEN BETTER! The revelations at the end are super shocking and I'm still a little in denial. It's logical, but I'm not exactly sure I'm convinced. Maybe it's just my memory confusing me though. Seriously, if you enjoyed PLL read this series!

This was such a fun duo-logy! It’s just so drama filled and entertaining. I did not find the plot twist and who did it shocking, I clocked that pretty early on in the first book. The ending though did gag me a little. Is this a great book? No, but it’s entertaining and that’s all I ask for.
