What a fast and fun story! The action and dialogue are sharp and quick and the characters are intriguing - I can't wait to watch now the film now. Very enjoyable!

Didnt love the narration. The voices used for everyone other than Spade were very similar. Also, the physical actions are over-described which makes for a clunky feel.

There's a reason this book is a classic. Tightly written. Fun to read the original version of a story that so many other books and films have ripped off over the years.
