I enjoyed the multimedia nature of this book as well as Brian Cox's and Robin Ince's light-hearted and comedic way of addressing scientific topics. There was a broad range of stuff going on and the added images and clippings were particularly interesting. However, I did find myself lost at points and the font in this book was so tiny, I felt like it took me an eon to read. The speech style text and format rather than typical prose is not something I particularly enjoy, but I get that it's meant to be based off of their podcasts so I suppose this is understandable.

I do really like the commentary on science skepticism and the public's refusal to accept scientific evidence / guidance. I think this is a particularly important area of science to discuss, as many people believe that because they lack the understanding on a topic, that the evidence that the scientists are proposing must be false. I wonder how much more relevant this issue may become, particularly with areas like climate change / global warming.

Overall, I would probably recommend this book to science enthusiasts, but just be prepared for tiny font and at times, information that will most likely be complex to understand. For some the podcasts may just be a better use of your time.

I like my books how I like my men. Intelligent, extremely stupid and with a sense of humour that makes me wish for The Big Crunch to come early, but simultanously fills me with joy that i can not quite comprehend.

Nie będę tu dużo mówić: wszechświat, twoja stara żarty, star trek, feynman, egzystencjalizm łee, FIZYKA WOO i wszystko jasne

Ta książka to rozszerzona wersja filmików kurzgesagt.

Moja ocena jest totalnie subiektywna, bo chyba poprostu znalazłam tę książkę w dobrym momencie mojego życia. Optymalnie!!
