A competent follow up, although the heroine's inconsistent mix of insight and ignorance a little frustrating at times

In this second book of Flora Maguire's adventures she has now been married to Bunny Harrington for over a year when she is told of the death of her father - butler at Cleeve Abbey. All she wants is to be sure that the death was accident as she starts to ask questions, but her dreams have come back to haunt her.
Some lovely characters and descriptions as the mysteries of the past and present unravel.
A NetGalley Book.
