I think this has to be my favourite out of the Ashley Poston novels I’ve read. The grief inside was palpable but the journey to the end and new beginnings was touching and I loved reading it.

There are two rules in Aunt Analea's magical time-slipping apartment. 1. take your shoes off, and 2. don't fall in love. But when Clementine slip seven years in the past to a time when the handsome Iwan is living in the apartment, Clementine might just have to break the rules, and perhaps her heart too...

This lighthearted plot deceptively conceals a deeply emotional and beautifully written story of love and yearning, of overwhelming grief, and of falling over and over again for your person as they themselves grow and change.

This one didn’t quite hit like Dead Romantics, but I really like this author’s writing style and how she blends grief and romance together. I adored these characters and I liked the paranormal premise of the apartment slipping back in time, but this book had some plot holes that felt too open ended for me. I wanted more closure about the last time Clementine was in the old apartment
with her aunt
and I wanted more resolution about how Iwan changed in the past 7 years and why, as well as how Clementine accepted that. Once they met in the current timeline, I wanted more discussion between the characters on what happened in the past.
