The first part of the book was a little slow, but it really picked up for me and just left me needing more!!!

Probs more of a 3.75, the story was slower but interesting. What killed me was everyone was so sensitive and dramatic the reactions didn’t seem warranted. Couldn’t really get a good read on our MMC until that last 25% maybe? I’m not invested enough in their story to see how things turn out. Also not invested in an entire storyline that was thrown at you in the last 10 pages of the book to read a book 2. I heard good things on booktok but this was a flop for me.
