This book had a bit of a slow start, but once it picked up I was hooked. The ending had me wanting to pick up the next book right away only to realize it's not out yet! :( So now I'll eagerly be waiting for book #2.

3.5 but rounded up due to the ending. I like the plot, but the romance was disappointing. It fell flat and was just lust the whole time. However… the ending gives me hope, so I look forward to the second book in the hopes I am right.

Along the way, she is tested mentalling & physically as well as her willpower, friendship and every truth she has ever thought she knew about life, love and her homeland’s past. First in its series this book will have you sweating for more through the very last pages.

This book was a breath a fresh air, there was things that are similar to other fantasy romances but it did had its unique vibe and plot. I feel like I was not bored not one second throughout this book and I had a good time on every page. And te ENDING- wow- haven’t felt something like that for a cliffhanger in quite a while.
This was a touch too slow paced for personal preference. I got 50% through and the plot had barely moved. it was really interesting and i think if you don’t mind a slower plot, someone could really love this.

This was a really easy book to read and get into. The characters were well developed and the plot was addictive. I would highly recommend.
