It is a while since I read a book in this series. I had almost forgotten about it. I remember that I thought the books were okayish but not something I would binge on.

This one is pretty much the same. Decent read but nothing fantastic. Rivka is a likable main protagonist and she is surrounded by quite a few likable characters. I like that Rivka has become quite a kick-ass character and she is nicely backed up by her companions, especially Red. I do wish her nanite fuelled powers would be a bit more interesting than this half assed mind reading though.

The story is, well, like the book overall, it is okay but not fantastic. There is plenty of action, some investigation and the usual, often foul mouthed, banter.

I’m not sure I can say much more about this book. This is one of these books that I though was okay to read but in reality is rather forgettable.
