Note as good as Still Alice, but I really like it anyway. I now know a lot more about this condition (left neglect) that I didn't even knew existed. Plus I like the message that it carry, you need to slow down and take your time, nothings need to be rush.

Genova is writing what she knows here. Still Alice was a 5 star read for me and this mirrors much of the book- high functioning married mother gets a neurological problem.
However, the character here is far less likable compared to Alice. Her hours devoted to work seem to be competitively motivated rather than a passion. The inner monologues don't make you empathise with Sarah like they did Alice.
Symptoms are repeated too much and read as filler or as though the writer forgot sge already wrote about it.
This didn't need to be 400pages (the version I had isn't listed on here). Based on this I wouldn't have read Still Alice , because I would assume the topics and character were do simular that SA wouldn't be good
I'm glad I read still Alice first!

Powerful, amazing !! Another novel you just simply cannot put down. Reminds you what to be grateful for in life and what the should be holding your time and attention. A great reminder and way to really tell people to abide by the NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE DRIVING LAW!!! Amazing author who has captured me with both her books

Heartfelt and really makes you think about how you live your life. Only problem is that it dragged a bit and the kids' personalities were a bit one-dimensional.
