When Ethan Walker arrives on the island of Glenmore to help out for the summer as a GP, he is immediately attracted to Kyla, the sister of the local doctor and a nurse.

Ethan has come to the island with a dual purpose. He has a personal quest and he has decided not to inform anyone about his real reasons for coming to the island. Ethan is distant, independent and brooding. This is in sharp contrast to Kyla, who grew up on the small island and loves the closeness of her family and the island's residents, even when they gossip and interfere and stick their noses in your personal business.

As attracted as Ethan and Kyla are to each other, they also clash. But, Kyla is falling in love with him even though she knows he is only there for the summer and that he is a man with many secrets. But, when she finds out what his real reason is for coming to Glenmore, will she still be able to love him?

This book was written by the British author Sarah Morgan and published in 2007. This is a short read with only 184 pages. I really enjoyed the book. I was very curious about Ethan's secret and when it was revealed, it was a bombshell.

I really enjoy the Harlequin Medical line and hope to work them into my TBR pile more often.
