I eagerly waited for this book of theirs to come out since this summer when I preordered it..mind you, I never preorder anything. In the meantime I kept up with her blog and tried many recipes, all of which are liked from home here. Her recipes make the switch over to Paleo easier and frankly, the foods are just yummy...paleo or not. :-)

I don't think I'll follow a Paleo diet anytime soon, but this book is a feast for the eyes! I love all of the visuals, the spunky writing. Good stuff. Oh, and some incredible recipes, too. Try the Peruvian Chicken. Nom nom, indeed!

I enjoyed the light hearted yet firm approach in this book. It really felt like, if she can do it then so can I! I haven't finished reading through the recipes because in the ebook format it isn't as easy for me as in hardcover. I may check out this out in the non-e-book version as well.

Don't bother with Practical Paleo and all the other books that take 200 pages to explain to you why you should go on a Paleo diet. If you want good recipes that are pretty good for you, just get this book. It's awesome and every recipe in it is a keeper.

I'm not remotely eating paleo but I like this cookbook. It's a good place to get started with a lot more practical information than other paleo books, which tend to focus on finding "cheat" foods like paleo pancakes and bagels. I'm not up for a poor substitute for the foods I was eating; I need something new to help me change.

I enjoy Tam's weblog and was pleased to hear she'd gotten a book deal. She kept the news down low for a long time!

You don't have to be on a paleo diet to enjoy this book. I read it from cover to cover and look forward to trying many of the delicious looking recipes.

I saw this book show up on a couple of my friend's facebook feeds, and decided to check it out. It's been my introduction to the whole concept of "paleo" food, and now I'm a bit of a convert. It helped that the author admits early on that she is not 100% paleo. If she had come across as some sort of hard core advocate of the diet I probably would have been turned off before I even got into it.

This is pretty much the first cookbook that I've sat down and read from cover to cover. Michelle Tam's writing style is excellent, and the production quality of the book is wonderful. While a lot of the recipes aren't exactly simple, I haven't had much trouble in following the ones I've tried, and I've tried several of them now. Some of the recipes have really pushed me out of my comfort zone as a cook, but all but one of the recipes I've tried have been a success, and I'm getting more skilled in the kitchen in the process.

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking into a paleo diet, or for someone wanting to have some gluten and/or dairy free recipes around for when they plan to serve guests who have those food allergies.

A really great cookbook with delicious recipes, and easy to learn but necessary advanced kitchen skills. I love the spectrum of food you get with Michelle- Thai, Korean, French, Italian. It also shows you how great cooking with fresh foods can be (even if you aren't paleo, or refuse to pay for grassfed beef, there are good healthy recipes in here!), and her introduction on kitchen and weekly planning makes it all relatively easy.

My only beef (haha) is that on the kindle there is no recipe table of contents that I can link to. I have select poultry and then scroll to the recipe. That drives me insane.

Michelle Tam makes this cookbook so fun to read with her great sense of humor. Not only that, but there is a lot of professional cooking information in this book that is simply indispensable, no matter what diet you follow. I think anyone can learn a lot from this cookbook even if they are not paleo, but if you are or a meat eater, be prepared for some delicious recipes! I have a huge lot of cookbooks, but I can't say enough good things about this one. Go get it now!
