“I love you. So fucking much, it scares me. So much, it fills me up and makes me think of nothing else. Loving you is like breathing. It’s impossible not to do.”

THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING!!
Outmatched is a wonderful and emotional story, I feel so hard over Parker and Rhys.
They are fake relantionship - opposites attract story and I loved everything. All of their banter with amazing chemistry that grows into protectiveness and support toward each other.
I also loved Rhys and Dean relationship as well as all secondary characters too.
I hope there will be many more books with secondary characters starting with Dean and Carlos!

Just finished the book and I can say without a doubt that I’ve enjoyed this one. “Outmatched” is a sports romance story with a little bit of comedy. I mean, I definitely enjoyed the way the main characters got to each other. Their interactions where to funny for my point of view and I couldn’t not mention it. They tried to avoid acknowledging their feelings in the most funny ways: "I shook off thoughts of holding that slim waist steady as I… No. No. No. Discipline, Morgan. Use your fucking discipline." Overall it was a great reading and I finished it in a day, that means I didn't get bored.
So, I can say that I enjoyed this story, I liked the way it was written and if you enjoy reading sports romance with a little bit of comedy you would enjoy this one too. I gave it ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars because I kinda wanted a different ending, but as I said before, I liked this book so I recommend it!

This was a great opposite’s attract romantic delight.
I loved the interaction between the main characters.
The story wasn’t “too” anything. Perfect for a happy, fun and romantic read.
Not to say there isn’t some drama, miscommunications and “bad guys” None of it overwhelmed the story.
The secondary characters weren’t focused on but I think they added to the story enough that I have many I’d love to see get their own book!

I can’t stand books that shove an agenda down my throat, and that’s the way this book felt to me. I’m all for recycling and being a good person, but this was overkill. Also, the writing is just cheesy. This could be a good story. It just didn’t cut it for me.

FORGIVE ME, BOOKS, FOR I HAVE SINNED!
Due to some personal and professional problems, I haven't been able to read a single book for two months! That is almost unforgivable for an avid reader, but with this book, I finally caught some much-needed, literary fresh air. And you know what? I freaking L-O-V-E-D it! Let me take this review step by step, for my own pleasure.

description

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
At first glance, you'd think the main characters are totally mismatched. Living completely different lives with completely different backgrounds, having no common grounds, and moving in social circles a world apart, you'd never logically match Parker Brown and Rhys Morgan. The story starts with our heroine desperately in need of a fake boyfriend in order to secure her position at work she obviously adores, which is why she seeks a professional male escort on an app. Cue Dean Morgan, our hero's baby brother who, despite being incredibly smart and talented, has no desire to seek a real job (to our hero's utmost annoyance). Unnerved by the fact that his baby brother took up such a ''job'', Rhys takes over the gig and heads to meet Parker in order to give her a piece of his mind. Surprisingly, the tiny heroine has a steel spine and stands up to him in her own way. And that, my friends, is the start of a budding, slow-burn romance.

ABOUT THE CHARACTERS
We all know I'm going to fangirl over Rhys, but I'd like to take a moment and express my girl crush on Parker! Being a writer myself, I know how hard it is to create a female lead who's kind, loyal and loving without making her sound timid, trepid and a pushover. Despite her reluctance to curse, yell and loudly stand her ground, she is strong, tenacious and passionate about everything she cares about. And that includes Rhys. Now, our hero... Swoon. Seriously, swoon. An alpha man? Yes. An asshole? No, not intentionally. A polar opposite to Parker, he cusses, takes his stand against the entire world if necessary, and he doesn't give a s*** if someone's not okay with that. Deeply wounded and emotional, he still doesn't let it get in the way to his true feelings. Despite it being a slow-burn romance, with both characters having to overcome their respective fears and traumas, the attraction is evident from the beginning. As a reader, you just know they have to end up together. They challenge each other on every level, and their journey is both about romance and self-growth.

WHAT I LOVED
The humor, first and foremost. I loved the dialogues, the banter and side characters' dynamics as well. I also absolutely adore the fact that Parkers' family, despite being filthy rich and influential, aren't snobby and stuck-up. Her fear of disappointing them stems from her insecurities and the inevitable societal pressures. Rhys' brother Dean is also charming, quick and oh-so-funny! I imagined him as his namesake from the Supernatural series - sometimes goofy, but as sharp as a whip. I loved the slow romance and the growing tension between the hero and the heroine. Another thing I actually appreciated is the fact that there was no huge drama. Don't get me wrong, I love me some good push-and-pull plots, but this book gave me such good feels even when it lacked those prolonged scenes of misunderstanding and groveling. I know some readers would've loved that, and the lack of it may be the reason they found it 'blah' at some point. Still, I loved it because it's a breath of fresh air when you're in need of a feel-good romance without having to grip your seat and go through emotional turmoils with the characters.

WHAT I DIDN'T LOVE
There's really nothing I specifically disliked or hated, I just wish the book would've been longer! Just a bit at the end, and some chapters here and there. Also, my personal preference when it comes to steamy scenes - I like them just a biiit longer. They weren't mild at all, and they were definitely hot. I just would've loved to see a tiny bit more. Those tiny preferences haven't influenced my overall experience and rating. Seriously, Kristen and Samantha - you did a kickass job!

FINAL THOUGHTS
I need more from this duo. Seriously, I want to read Dean's story, and possibly Carlos'. I love me some good, big-hearted, muscly Bostonians!

So cute!

This book was super cute! I’m not usually for sports related books but it wasn’t surrounded by boxing surprisingly. Steamy and a unique storyline although a little predictable!
