emotional mysterious fast-paced

A bit of finding yourself, a bit of history, a bit of romance.
fast-paced

It was fun she I liked the art and coloring, but the storyline wasn’t super original. It felt like Casper, Ghostbusters, and Meg Cabot’s mediator series combined.

Read for Popsugar: A book with 2 authors (who happen to be sisters! Cute!!)

Family drama! Friend drama! Ghost drama??? I loved it. Great art, a really expressive style and lovely colors. And a fascinating mystery, too, heck.
slow-paced

Not my favorite graphic novel but gave me the vibes of ghostbusters and a little bit of a graphic novel I loved, Northranger to getting a job with your dad. This book is very family orientated. It just was okay.

The illustrations are stunning in this book. I enjoyed the story, but it reminded me so much of another book I read last month (Junie) that I could predict everything that happened.
CW: racism & slavery; death; classism

This was so cute and fun! Like a father-daughter Ghostbusters, but with some historical and social issues mixed in. I really enjoyed it!

"using violence against violence in any world just seems to bring more of the same"

This was pretty cute and touched on great topics! I wish it would've shown us more about where the characters might go from here, but that's only because I connected with the characters so well and wanna see their relationships thrive from the conflicts of this book.

this was cute graphic novel with a fun plot, however the typos at the start and the wrong formatting for the speech bubble kept making it difficult for me to fully be able to concentrate on the story itself as i had to keep going back to figure out who was really saying what even if the speech bubble was point to the complete wrong person. if you enjoyed the ghostbusters movies you’d probably enjoy this cute graphic novel which also dives into the history of new orleans
