This was the perfect conclusion to the series, I loved being able to read about each character one last time. The violet in bloom addition was also so lovely to read, she's definitely a fan favourite character

Revisiting the world of the Bridgertons through these second epilogues (and of course Violet’s story) was a delight. Some of these were more enjoyable than the others, but overall, it was a fun read.
The Duke and I: The 2nd Epilogue
[3 stars]
A cute little epilogue, and insight into the lives of Simon (who is very much a struggling girl dad) and Daphne (who is rightfully being worshipped). I’m glad we finally got to the bottom of what was in Simon’s father’s letters - but I don’t know if I’m disappointed that they were nothing special or if I kind of expected that.
The Viscount Who Loved Me: The 2nd Epilogue
[4 stars]
The interactions between the Bridgertons was always my favourite part of the books and venturing back into the world of competitive pall mall was a delight. Anthony and Kate’s never ending squabbling and banter were just adorable.
An Offer From a Gentleman: The 2nd Epilogue
[2 stars]
Whilst this was a cute story focusing on Posey, I’d really hoped to have seen more about Benedict and Sophie. The few moments we <i> did </i> have of them were endearing.
Romancing Mr Bridgerton: The 2nd Epilogue
[3 stars]
Lovestruck Colin is a gem, as always, and this story did a good job of typing up the loose ends because I was a little disappointed that the book didn’t let cover how Eloise found out about Lady Whistledown. Again, it was delight to see the family interacting with one another.
To Sir Phillip, With Love: The 2nd Epilogue
[3.5 stars]
Seeing the world through the eyes of a grown up Amanda was an unexpected surprise, but I enjoyed her story. Especially seeing snippets of her parents through her eyes. Although, I would have loved to see more of Eloise and Phillip throughout.
When He Was Wicked: The 2nd Epilogue
[4.5 stars]
This was, without a doubt, one of my favourites of the extended epilogues. Michael fit so perfectly into the Bridgerton family fold and Francesca was finally able to have her heart’s desires. Even still, the love they shared was the standout part of the story.
It’s in His Kiss: The 2nd Epilogue
[3 stars]
Whilst this solved a long awaited riddle and gave me the answers I was looking for, I’d hoped for more. I didn’t necessarily mind that </spoilers> Isabella found the jewels but it did annoy me that they were kept hidden again for so long. </spoilers> Of course, I understood <i> why </i> they were hidden again, but I’d hoped for more.
On the Way to the Wedding: The 2nd Epilogue
[4.5 stars]
Lucy and Gregory, whose entire love story was <i> wild </i> would just naturally end up having eight children … for some reason, it just made sense. This was a lot heavier than the other stories, and yet it was the most tender. The pair are just perfect for each other.
Their first born being named after Kate just stole my heart
Violet in Bloom
[5 stars]
This was simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking. It was a pleasure to meet Edmund Bridgerton through Violet’s eyes, as opposed to the legend of a man his children see him as. The short glimpse into their love was beautiful, and to see his inevitable end was unexpectedly emotional.

I honestly had such a good time revisiting these characters and it has made me even more excited for season 3!

I loved Violets story but some of the others were super long
lighthearted
medium-paced
Certainly not bad. And fun to see where the characters ended up in the authors mind.
Finished the series! What an endeavor... Bring on the Netflix!
