I have ready all 9 books in the last 20 days, and I’m not sure what to do now
This book is basically Julia Quinn writing fan fiction epilogues and short stories for her own novels, and I AM HERE FOR IT!! I’ve been going down on a Bridgerton rabbit hole (see - almost all the books I’ve read in 2021 up til now) and I think I read something by Quinn that romance novels have a happily ever after so you don’t get a second book featuring the same main characters because that means something went wrong for them. So these epilogues are the closest we’ll get to focused stories about our favorite Regency family! I loved all of them, and thought it would be fun to rank which was my most favorite. (The list below is ranked from 1 (HOLY MOLY LOVED IT favorite) to 9 (my favorite) for all the stories in this book.) I definitely noticed that I tended to favor love stories as epilogues (or maybe it’s books where the female main characters were Bridgerton sisters and close Bridgerton friends).
2nd Epilogue Favorite Rankings
1 - When He Was Wicked - love this happy happy ending for Francesca, especially as a new mom myself
2 - Romancing Mr Bridgerton - this epilogue and the characters’ interactions are why we love the Bridgertons
3 - The Duke and I
4 - To Sir Phillip, With Love
5 - It’s In His Kiss - happy that Hyacinth solved it! I wonder how her daughter tells her that she found them first
6 - An Offer from a Gentleman
7 - Violet in Bloom
8 - On the Way to the Wedding
9 - The Viscount who Loved Me - so funny that this was ranked last as I think this was one of my top 2 favorite books!

i loved all the second epilogues after reading each story. a great thing to bring everything to a close. also violets story was AMAZING to give even more of a glimpse into her and edmund
this rating is for violet's novella not the other 2nd epilogues BUT anyway i love violet n edmund and all their children and their childrens partners and their grandchildren and great grandchildren and i certainly feel like i am an honorary bridgerton

Wonderful!
I laughed and I almost cried (two times). You can not not love The Bridgertons.

Violet and Edmund's story was wonderfully sweet. Not much steam, but that's fine! In the same way I have no desire to read about daughter Bree's sex life in the Outlander series, I don't need to read about Mama Violet's! But seeing her life at the time jumps was quite satisfying. I'd already read all the second epilogues in the kindle editions of the eight books, so didn't reread them all.
I bought this for Eloise and Violet's 2nd epilogues as they weren't on the audiobooks. I liked To Sir Phillip's second epilogue but it felt like the cut off version of a real story. Violet's was just boring.
