Half a point deducted because Violet got done dirty but not in the way we were hoping. Half a point deducted for the To Sir Phillip, With Love 2nd epilogue making me read about Amanda having raucous sex with her beau while her father is down the hall. I mean, art is supposed to evoke emotion. I like that Amanda grew up but that part did give me the ick. Otherwise pretty damn good.
2.5 stars. The way the 2nd epilogues were pushed together into a book is a really fun idea. the idea that Violet had the chance for own short story love the idea. However it was the most boring story possible and they could’ve done more with her story with her husband before she died but instead there was nothing to the plot. I am done with all their stories and I am at peace.
