one of my favourite parts of hyacinth's book is when violet tells hyacinth about her birth. it got me the first time around, and hit me even harder in the reread. reading it through violet's perspective - sob. anyway. i'm glad we got a little story for violet.
I’m so glad I decided to read this because ending the series on Violet was SUCH an amazing way to end the series. Obviously all the extra epilogues that we got about the various friends, children, games, etc. from the other books was fantastic! However, none of them were as moving or as satisfying (ok maybe Hyacinth finally finding the diamonds was hella satisfying) as rounding off the series with the best mother ever, Violet Bridgerton. She has successfully lived a happy and full life, regardless of the pain and sorrow she has been through and I could not hope for any less of a life. Amazing read.

A really sweet story about Violet - including her first meeting with her husband while they were children, then a second meeting as young adults where they fell in love. A sweet novella but still heart wrenching

Read this just for Violet’s novella! Sweet if a little boring. I wish it provided more context for who Violet is outside of her children.
Mostly did this for the mom's story since I have done most of the second epilogues already.
