Okay, so I may just fan-girl a little over this book.

Flight has everything: An amazing plot, totally awesome characters and a sizzling hot romance.

Flight follows Allie as she and her best friend, Jess, go to work in her father’s hotel in New Orleans for the summer. Soon after they arrive Allie meets the super-hot Levi and his friends, Jared, Owen and Hailey, but since she has sworn off guys, she doesn’t react to his flirtatious attempts. After an incident causes Jess to end up leaving, Allie decides to take up Levi’s offer of a date with just the two of them.

Pretty soon she discovers that all is not what it seems within the circle of friends and they aren’t as human as they appear.

I adore Allie. I love a strong female character who can stand up for herself and Allie can certainly do that. I love her humour and her reactions to Levi at first are hilarious. I really enjoyed her narration of the story.

Levi is just a dreamboat. He’s definitely up there with some of the awesome supernatural males. The romance between him and Allie is just brilliant. I can’t explain how much I love the two of them!

The other characters are just as fabulous as well. Hailey is so sweet; I want her for a friend! I’d definitely like to see more of Jared as the series continues as well because he’s quite an intriguing character.

The plots throughout the story are amazing! I literally couldn’t stop reading it. There are some serious ‘OMG!’ moments within the last few chapters.

I really enjoyed Flight and I'm super excited to see how the story and the characters develop in the rest of the series. This is a perfect read for any Fantasy/Supernatural fan.

LOVED THIS!!!

I thought it was great and I always love it when I read a new book and actually like the main girl. I liked the originality of it and loved Levi, in fact, I loved all the characters!

I was a little confused to why Jess was introduced then shafted but I wasn't too sad, after all, I did prefer Hailey! But I do hope Jess makes another appearance in the series, she was fun and I liked the friendship between her and Allie.

I loved the storyline and I loved the writing but of course I did keep wondering when she'd get kidnapped (it happens in all paranormal romance books, doesn't it?) but at least it didn't last too long in this because I get bored easily of the kidnapping plot.

Allison and Levi....siiiighh I loved them.

I'd definitely re-read this book again.

It was a pretty good read. The idea of the Pterons was new.Allie was also a very interesting character. She was capable of resisting Levi's charms.
SpoilerBut not for long.It pissed me off that she fell for him so fast.
About Levi..in the beginning I kind of liked him.He is so hot.*sigh*.But what he did in the end was really outrageous.I just wanted to slap him on the face for it.SERIOUSLY.I cannot say anything else without giving the plot away.Anyway I am curious to know what happens next.I'll have to wait till the next book comes out.

This was an interesting story. Allie is off to New Orleans to spend the summer working in her father's hotel before heading off to Princeton in the fall. When she gets there, she meets Levi who infuriates her, confuses her and attracts her all at the same time. But he's more than what she thinks and now that he's set his sights on her, Allie gets introduced to a world she knew nothing about.

Allie is hard girl to warm up to, as a reader, but there's a reason she's the way she is. She's very regimented and every facet of her life must fit into the neat little box she has for it. When things don't fit into the box, she walks away (exhibit A: ex-boyfriend Toby who she didn't shed a tear over). But her world is turned upside down when she meets Levi. She's her normal standoffish self with Levi, but he doesn't get turned off by her. His continued pursuit helps break down some of Allie's walls, which leads to her enjoying life a bit more. But her relationship with Levi comes at a cost. One I'm not sure she'd be willing to pay if she knew then what she knows now (cryptic, huh?).

Levi is Pteron, which is a crow/human hybrid and also at the top of the supernatural food chain. While he understands what his pursuit of Allie means, he purposefully leaves Allie in the dark and deflects any questions she might ask about his supernaturalness. In the end, it's Levi's lack of information sharing that leads to Allie being captured as a pawn in the power play between the underling supernaturals and the Pteron's.

I enjoyed the story and even the almost hostile "courting" between Levi and Allie. And while Allie was really hard to connect with, in the end I completely understood why she was doing what she was doing and supported her as she put Levi in his place.

A great start to the series and looking forward to see what's next in the Crescent Chronicles.

Allie has sworn off after her last relationship ended because even though he doesn’t see it that way. In the fall she heads off to Princeton so this summer is going to be about working for her dad and spending time with her best friend. She has no intention of getting involved with a guy especially the arrogant Levi who is determined to win her heart. Allie has no intention of falling for Levi but sometimes you can’t always help falling for the charming guy.

What Allie decides will be a little fun with Levi quickly changes when he shows her a part of his world that she didn’t knew even existed. Levi and his friends are part of a secret society of supernatural beings that also happen to be the leaders of. As Allie falls into their world she’s torn between being freaked out and finding it exciting what they can do. Suddenly Levi changes everything with a gift that changes her life forever putting herself and family at risk. Will she survive or be on the run forever?

I loved Allie she’s got her life all planned out even though her childhood wasn’t perfect she’s made the best of it. I’m not sure how I feel about her best friend she’s got issues and I didn’t like the way she just up and left Allie alone. I also loved Hailey right from the start she’s a fun character with a good heart and much better friend for Allie. Oh the guys I can’t even I wanted to dislike Levi but I just loved him for Allie even if she doesn’t see it yet.

I’ve been on the fence about this series for a while because I loved her Clayton Falls series. I took the plunge giving Flight a chance by the end of the first chapter I was so hooked I purchased the rest of the series right away. I found the characters easy to connect with I loved Allie as a character she’s great stubborn and not falling all over Levi. Flight is a fast paced on the edge of your seat paranormal romance that has all the aspects I look for in a book. The author has created her own unique world for her characters to live in and I can’t wait to learn more about the supernatural society in future books. This isn’t my first book by this author but her writing style is one of my favorites it just flows along smoothly. I had a hard time putting Flight down if I didn’t have to be up early I would have stayed up late to finish. I really loved Flight everything about the book was amazing I loved it so much. I can’t wait to start the next one.

It is an okay book but certainly not outstanding. Don't expect too much action from this book. It is certainly not boring but it isn't exciting either.
The certain something was just missing for me, not to mention that the romance in it was moving a bit too fast, mostly also thanks to Levi's acting, which really was just stupid.
The positive thing about it, was that there was no secret about their paranormal side. It wasn't an overly long game of guessing what is so mysterious about these guys (something that gets annoying pretty fast if it is done wrong). They were open and honest to Allie from the start and I like that.

This book started off very cute! Two girls, Ali and Jess, visit New Orleans for the summer but it quickly turned into a story about a creepy paranormal being staking Ali. None of the characters were likable unless you like men who lie, follow you around, and do the opposite of everything you say. Ali was supposed to be strong and independent and the way she just lets Levi control her is sick. And there was nothing at all attractive about Levi, and don’t even get me started on how this book just ends in the middle of a party without answering any questions!
